White pine needles can be a year round source of Vitamins
C and A for your poultry. Medicinally it is used for respiratory issues.I have found that my flock likes them more during fall and winter. They
eat them on range and munch on branches that I cut and give them during the winter months. I have
also seen my poultry eating different
species like blue spruce (Picea pungens) and Eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) needles as well.
