Moonlight Mile Herb Farm is a small, but growing(!) herb farm that is largely run by one person, Susan (me!), with lotsa help by my significant other, Jon. He built the greenhouse and the wonderful avian housing and pens, and if you ever come out to visit, please make sure you pay your compliments to Jon! His innovative designs are not only extremely functional, but works of art. Perhaps another business in the making? Since it is such a small operation at this time, I ask for your patience and understanding as I learn to grow the business side to make this venture a success. So if the product is not to your satisfaction or does not arrive in good shape, I want to rectify the matter if I can.

Right now, the birds and eggs for sale are restricted to Michigan residents. For me to ship out of state, I would need to have each and every bird (well over 200 birds at this point) tested for pullorum typhoid to be NPIP certified to ship outstate. The cost is pretty prohibitive for that many birds, and this test must also be done annually. So for now, I am not bearing that cost and only selling birds and eggs within the state of Michigan. It might be in my future plans that I will be able to become NPIP certified, but for now I apologize for the inconvenience.

Guinea Fowl
Keets need to be picked up at my farm as I do not ship live birds. I prefer to sell the keets at 3 days old to make sure they are eating and drinking properly and are healthy and active. Hatching eggs will be mixed colors. The adult guineas pick their own mates, and eggs are collected from communal nests.

Tinctures
If there is a specific tincture you are looking for, and you don't see it listed on the native herb page, it may be possible that I have the herb growing on my property and can make the tincture upon request. I would also be willing to make special blends if the herbs are available.

Herb Plants
Plant seeds will be set in my greenhouse in the first week of March, and seedlings will sent as soon as they have put out their second set of true leaves and are ready for transplanting. Most plants will be available in May. After that, the plants will be sent out as ordered during the summer months. Grown organically and with organic seeds.

Java Chickens
Chicks need to be picked up at my farm as I do not ship live birds. I prefer to sell the chicks at 3 days old to make sure they are eating and drinking properly and are healthy and active. Black and white javas will housed in breeding pens and be bred true to color.

Peafowl
I just acquired the peahens this winter, so this is my first years attempt at breeding peafowl. The availability of peachicks is uncertain at this time. I advise you to send an inquiry if you are seriously interested, and I will see if we can accomodate your order.

Payment will be accepted with payment by personal check, money order, or PayPal. Please submit payment in exact amount that is printed on your invoice. Product will be shipped when payment is received. Herb plant transplants will be shipped in the spring when ready. Refunds will always be honored if product has not yet been shipped.
