Planting a woodland flower garden...... Wild geranium, yellow & white violets, bluebells, mayapple, jack-in-the-pulpit Wild ginger, solomon's seal, pink & white trillium, sharp lobed hepatica Bloodroot, yellow trout lily common violet The goldenseal, black & blue cohosh made it through the winter. Time to trim the grass! summer Hawthorn trees are now into their 3rd year. They are 4-5 feet tall. Two peach trees will provide leaves for use. A new slippery elm tree grove. Future shade will bring on more woodland herb plants!
