I planted a couple of comfrey plants, oregano, and a few hostas into CCH this fall. I subdivided the comfrey and oregano from existing plants in my garden. They are very hardy to grow, which can be started from a small amount of rootlets. However, if your birds are hungry for greens (like mine were here in late fall with not much growing), they will munch them right down to the ground.
