Chi Chi Haven 08/02/09

Here is the fencing, all secured by zip ties. They proved invaluable and they save a lot of time. They secure everything extremely well, and should last a while since they are plastic. The fence is 5 feet tall.

Here is Jon's 10 foot gate for me to get in and out of CCH. I still have to finish painting, but he did a nice job...as usual!

Here is the bird door to go in and out of the Taj Maguinea. You can see the peafowl pen right next door. I will simply have to prop their door open to give them access to Taj Maguina and CCH.

You can see a female already eying the big rose bush around the tree

The old burn pit. I plan to regular burn fires here to give them access to charcoal to eat. Charcoal can be very beneficial for absorbing toxins and I will let the guineas eat free choice. You can also see one of the removable sections for me to drive my car through.

They have access to a spruce, pine and hemlock tree. I plan on planting more white pine for them to eat the pine needles.

The end of the Taj Maguina and also you can see the elevated duck house and pen. The ducks will be ranging outside of the CCH, along with the chickens in one of the blocked off coop. I may change that when I am done breeding the javas, or I may keep the guineas and chickens permanently separated. I am still thinking on that one...

The two big rose bush areas under the trees. I plan on planting lots more berry bushes for natural fruits for them to eat.
